Easiest way to convert and burn multiple formats to DVD for play in regular DVD player. Works for AVI,MPEG,DIVX,XVID.

Steps
  1. First you are going to need some conversion software. There are so many different utilities you need to go about burning Divx format to DVD quality and it can be a lengthy process. You need, conversion software, shrinking software, and burning software like Blaze Media Pro All-in-one Converter, Ripper, Burner, Audio and Video Editing Software. It is impossible to find a package that will do it all for you for free. I use a simple cheap program that handles all of the conversion and burning for me. You can find it via google.
  2. After you download you software you are going to want to load the file you need burned into your program.
  3. Select the size of the DVD you are burning to, either DVD 5 or DVD 9. This will allow the conversion software to properly adjust the new file.
  4. Select a location to save the image file. Make sure you have enough space on the drive for the conversion, usually this is 2 gigs for a 700MB divx file. It basically doubles.
  5. Before you convert the file place the writable media in the drive.
  6. Click on convert and burn and let it go. This will take some time. It converts each frame one by one so the faster your computer the shorter time it will take.
 Tips
  1. Sometimes it is better to burn at low speeds like 1 or 2 X because some older dvd players won't recognize faster burned discs.
  2. Always delete the image file after you are done burning, they can take up a lot of space.
  3. Easy way is to use a Divx compatible DVD player which are available at a cheaper price. Here is the list of DIVX Compatible DVD Player:
